Learn to Surf in Ten Steps


Surfing. It’s simple. Just walk out of into the surf, turn the board around, catch a wave and perservere right?

Na, but only if it was so simple. I’ve been surfing for upwards of 15 years and am still pretty average, but I’m fine achievable. I love it. I love when i was in the ocean, I love the peacefulness, I love what sort of ocean can slap you throughout the face and hang up you in your place, I love the camaraderie chatting about waves with mates, but many of all I love the opinion of going along a wave. Literally just going along, along, not forcing any seems, just cruising with all the flow with the wave.

The beautiful thing about surfing is when you look after your well being you can continue to further improve as the greys carry on growing. I’m booting down thirty’s door and am more confident each and every year and often suprise myself together with the odd air or man hack, but that’s finished ., you must realise which you’ll  never master surfing, you’re continually learning. Now it's rather a slow, painful process simply to get to grips with all the basics but it’s its not all doom and gloom. Step one
